The Rising

Painting Description :

As they flow out of me, they transform. Not just themselves but me. I like to capture all transitions to see the beauty in each step of the way. This painting was once again a premonition/ pre-description of the unknown journey ahead. Or was it a way to get me going, to make me travel by myself in the unsure times of “Covid”?

I am enjoying channeling the happenings and am humbled by the healing that is brought through the process and the final painting and then the writing and presenting. A whole lot of Heart (Anahata) and Throat (Vishuddhi) Chakra activations, expansion and healing happened in October while worked on this panting.

The Rising, is the ascension of consciousness. Each activated/updated/awakened point of energy/consciousness adds to the awakening of the whole. This painting brings forth energies of Shakti (Mother Earth), Goddess of Creation and Sarasvati, Goddess of Knowledge and Creativity as the violet flames ignite each petal of consciousness. Archangel Raphael sending out the healing emerald rays through the heart center. The Dolphin brings harmony, balance, joy and spiritual growth. The Hornbill – a bird of power, brings with it, “Ability to rear young alone, Protection of young, Pecking your way through obstacles, Breaking out of difficult situations.” The Magpie stands for “Understanding of the balance of light and darkness, Seeing in darkness, Use of ritual in everyday life, Use of voice, Communication, Understanding messages from Spirit, Prophecy, Intelligence, Good luck.”

I wanted to pour,

I wanted to flow

I also wanted to go to the mountains since before.

Corona cancelled Bhutan and Valley of Flowers,

For it had something magical in store!

October shone Devi’s energies on my canvas

Her forms found their way

The dolphin and the birds flew in the same space

While the earth seemed to heave up to a gateway!

And then I Left ,

Within a day

To an unknown destination

where friends awaited.

Beyond that I knew I had to seek,

So I followed the links and synchronicity

In a remote village of Dunagiri,

I was greeted by an ex-amazon delivery guy

Who from 2 years ago remembered my details completely

The Trishul range,

Yellow Beaked Magpies and Babajis cave

Blessed me with their generous Grace.

The Full moon shone and tasks were done,

I returned home and the painting was turned.
